Accessibility Review Find every issue that matters, mapped to the file that causes it

A WCAG 2.2 AA review of your key templates. We run in-house automated scans at desktop and mobile widths, then test manually by keyboard, with VoiceOver and NVDA, and at 400% zoom. You get a prioritized issue list, each issue mapped to the theme file that causes it, with a fixed price to fix it.

Cart drawer is not a dialog

WCAG 2.2
2.1.1 Keyboard, 2.4.3 Focus Order, 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value
Template
Cart drawer, on every page
Theme file
snippets/cart-drawer.liquid
What we saw
The drawer opened but focus stayed on Add to cart behind it. Escape did nothing; the close “×” was a <span>.
Fix approach
Native modal <dialog> with a name; focus moves in, Escape closes, focus returns to the opener.
How to retest
Add to cart, Tab around inside the drawer, press Escape.
Example from our demo store (fictional): one row of the issue list you get.

What we test

In-house regression tooling: every template we touch is scanned before and after, at desktop and mobile widths, against WCAG 2.2 AA rules (axe-core engine), and the results are diffed and mapped to your audit IDs. Automated scanning is paired with manual keyboard, screen reader (VoiceOver, NVDA) and 400% zoom testing, because automated tools catch only part of WCAG.

A Review, not a certified audit

It isn’t a certified audit, VPAT or ACR, and it isn’t legal advice. It’s an engineering review, built to get your store fixed.
